Good live music makes any occasion great.  December’s corporate holiday parties are no exception!

If you think about it, much of the purpose of a corporate holiday party is to give something back to the company’s employees who have worked so hard all year long. They’ve given their all for the company. So treat them to a really fun evening!

There’s no better way to make your company’s holiday party fun, than by having a great live band! Recorded music is considered ordinary, because it just consists of the same versions of the same songs people already have in their collections. It will be perceived as ordinary, because it is.

But a great live music performance is 100% unique and special to your particular event. Your employees know the difference, and will appreciate it. Find a great live band, and your employees will really have a great time! They’ll say, “Wow, this year’s party was awesome! They really got it right this year!” And that reflects well on your company. It reflects particularly well on you, if you had anything to do with the holiday party planning. Employees really appreciate it.

Hire a great all-around variety band. Chances are, the people attending your company holiday party will span a wide range in age, backgrounds, and musical tastes. So the smart money is always on hiring a great all-around, variety band. Bands like Raising Cain can play everything from super new, current hits for your younger employees, to classic rock for your older employees. Keep in mind that  the very best parties are those where every single person leaves saying, “That band played lots of songs I recognized, and could dance to.”

What’s more, if you find a really good variety band, they might even be able to bust out some cool versions of holiday tunes. Perhaps a rockin’ version of “Jingle Bell Rock.” Or maybe their female singer does a great cover of “All I Want for Christmas is You.” And if it’s a New Year’s Eve party, there’s nothing better than a band jamming a great version of “Auld Lang Syne” at midnight!

Whatever the nature of your December holiday party, good live music will make it great!
